Fully Refurbished 9L Ball Lock Corny Keg (2.4G)

Each keg has undergone a thorough refurbishing process, including a complete cleaning and machine polishing. The lid, PRV, liquid and gas dip tubes, and both posts have all had their o-rings replaced. All kegs are top-tier brands: AEB, SAFER, or CORNELIUS. SAFER was previously the brand name for AEB, meaning that any kegs with SAFER markings were produced in the AEB factory.

Our keg refurbishing process:

1. We begin our keg refurbishing process by carefully selecting kegs from our inventory, excluding any that have medium or large dents or blemishes. Once selected, the kegs are disassembled and all o-rings are removed. We then clean the kegs and all components with food-grade agents, while performing a pressurized, underwater leak test on every post. If any posts are found to be leaking, we remove and replace the poppet and o-ring.

   After washing, we remove any tape, glue, and stickers from the outside of the keg, and then polish the exterior using a proprietary machine. If necessary, some kegs may receive additional manual polishing. Next, all parts are reassembled with new o-rings. The posts that passed the leak test do not require poppet o-ring replacement. We polish the keg lids and straighten any wire handles as needed, followed by a final manual polish to enhance the exterior appearance.

   Once reassembled, the kegs are pressurized to 3 BAR (43.5 psi) and set aside for 24 hours. We then check for leaks and label the kegs as ready to ship after completing the 11-step refurbishing process.

   It is important to note that although these kegs have been previously used, they may still have small dings and scratches that could not be removed during the refurbishing process. Some may also have very small dents that do not affect their functionality. Additionally, they may contain polishing residue that could get on your hands, so it is crucial to wash and sanitize all kegs before use.

   Finally, some of the kegs may have sun damage to the rubber tops or bottoms, causing the rubber to no longer seal properly, resulting in black marks when wet. Some kegs may also have two o-rings on the posts, but they function just as well as kegs with a single o-ring.
